Best season to exploring Kampong Phluk Floating market
From February to July, which is the dry season, the village can be reached by minibus or motorbike as the road is dried up during this time. In the rainy season, from August to January, the village will be flooded and so can be reached by a short boat ride from the quay. The village is not actually a floating village but a village built on high stilts to adapt to the seasonal tides of Tonle Sap Lake.
